AN UNEXPECTED DESTINATION : SANTO MIKAEL CHURCH IN SEMINYAK, BALI

It was our second day in Bali, we (me and my brother) were staying at Seminyak. After my not so good organic sushi breakfast, I really want to visit a tourist destination near Seminyak, so I googled, "Tourist destinations in Seminyak" and Santo Mikael Church was on the list. It was not too far from where we were. Finding this church was not a difficult task, google maps will easily guide you. When we arrived, I though that this church is not open for public. Because the entrance gate was locked, we asked the security guy if we can visit this church or not, and he replied nicely with yes, then he guided us as well!

From him, we know that this beautiful church (also known as Dhyana Pura Church) is now owned by a Japanese family and often used as prewedding photo shoot location on weekdays. There’s even a separate house in front of the church as a bridal house, I can see a few wedding dresses from the window. This old church (I forget the exact year of when this church was built) was literally smells like an old building and I kinda like it. I also like their garden as well, really perfect for a fairytale themed wedding photo shoot!
