CAMERA REVIEW : NIKON Coolpix P7700

Hi my Internet friends! A little bit different from my usual post, on today's blog post I want to give my opinion and review about my new friend. Who is it? My new traveling partner! Uhh yass I got a new camera! After a long long time I always have to carry my bulky but trusty dslr, finally I have a mini one that is absolutely more travel friendly. I know that these days mirrorless camera is on trend, many bloggers use it, but for me I want something more handy than a mirrorless camera and of course with a great quality as well. I found that prosumer camera is a great choice for me.

Nikon Coolpix P7700 is something I was looking for. It's handy enough for traveling. Not as big as dslr or mirrorless camera, but the image quality is great. It was actually launched in 2012, but you can still find it on the market. The updated version is Nikon Coolpix P7800. I'm not trying to become one of those tech blog reviewer that is super detail, but I will just review from my point of view and what I understand. Mostly I shoot with auto-mode or program mode (P), and this camera is good enough.

Everyone love bokeh (that blur background) and this camera do bokeh quite good as well. The micro mode in this camera make it easier to achieve those bokeh effect. With 1030 mAh battery, it can survive for a whole day or more, same as my Nikon dslr. Somehow I find the video quality is even better than my Nikon 3100 (dslr). That's why I really can't wait to bring this baby out for traveling.

Final Verdict

If you want to find a camera with decent quality like dslr camera and mirrorless camera in compact size, this is the perfect camera for you. You can also manually adjust everything like ISO or white balance just like dslr or mirrorless cam. The vari-angle screen on this camera is perfect for those selfie lovers and those who want to find a better perspective to capture.
