ZOO VISIT : RAGUNAN
Hi! Long time no see. As always I miss blogging. I just finished my final project. That's why I've been away and neglect this blog for months. But now I'm back with a new article. Yasss!!
---
June was a fasting month, that's why I really wanted to go to the zoo, because I assumed it would be less crowded and I was right! Located in South Jakarta, I've never been to this zoo before, even though it's not that far. I came here just after lunch around 12 am and was very happy because the zoo was not crowded at all. But sadly, I came here too late because one of the most popular spot in this Ragunan Zoo which is their primate center closing early due to fasting month. I was really disappointed that day, but yaaa I probably will go back just to see their primate center.
These beautiful pelicans were the first ting that I saw when entering this zoo. They are naturally beautiful, and I can't stop taking picture of these beauties. Other than these pelicans, everything was pretty much basic to me. I don't really like this zoo that much, compared to Taman Safari Indonesia in Puncak. Well, the entrance price gap sums up why Taman Safari is so much better. To enter this zoo all you need is JakCard, if you don't have one, you can buy it from the locket in front of the zoo. I bought mine for IDR 30.000,- with IDR 20.000,- credit inside. Can be used for more than one people. The entrance fee itself cost IDR 4.000,- per person. Definitely cheap!
Other than cheap entrance ticket, another plus point is totally their location. Very easy to find. You can take commuter train to get here, Tanjung Barat Station is the closest station to this zoo. After that you can take uber or grab to the exact location.
Your photography is AMAZING! Birds freak me out a bit, but your pics made me love them just a little bit more. Thank you so much for sharing!!
