YOGYAKARTA DAY 4 (PART2) : ALUN-ALUN KIDUL

Hello, how's your midweek? Yuhuuu, still at day 4. So basically after we visited Borobudur, we leave Magelang and back to Yogyakarta and stay at The Cabin Hotel, the same hotel we stayed before at day 2. For your information, we went back to Yogyakarta by taxi from Borobudur for IDR 250.000,-. After we checked-in and rest for maybe 2+ hours at the hotel, we decided to visit Malioboro street for dinner and doing some night shopping there.

It was our last night in Yogyakarta, and I really don't want to leave the city. Our next destination after dinner and shopping was Alun-Alun Kidul. There are two Alun-Alun (the city square) in Yogyakarta, there are Alun-Alun Kidul/Selatan (Southern City Square) and Alun-Alun Utara (Northern City Square). There is not much to see on the northern city square, but on the other square, Alun-Alun Kidul, there are several attractions such as odong-odong (tandem bicycle) with colorful lights for IDR 30.000,- till IDR 50.000,-, another attraction is you can also try to walk straight to pass the banyan trees, but blindfolded. You can rent a blindfold for IDR 5.000,-.

Looking at all these colorful lights on odong-odong just makes me feel happy. You can also take photos with these two guys, dressing like pocong and zombie. I'm afraid of pocong except this one, because his make up wasn't terrifying at all.

These are my travelling partners :)
